PETROS KESTORAS

BIOGRAPHY:

Petros Kestoras was born in Cyprus in 1957. He graduated from the University of Paduia (Italy) with degree in political science –international politics. Petros Kestoras worked in the Cyprus Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus since 1984 in various posts, as well as in different countries like – Kenya, Italy, Switzerland, UK. From 2002 up to 2007 he was the Cyprus Ambassador in the Republic of China. Since 16 of January 2009 he is Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus in the Russian Federation.

In this speech, prepared with the personal involvement of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Cyprus, the ambassador will touch the state of present bilateral relations in financial and banking spheres and describe the perspectives of the further cooperation.
